VINELink and Liberty Arrests
Florida VINE works as an anonymous automated service. The Second Judicial Circuit State Attorney's VINE Program page spells out what it covers. It serves anyone seeking custody information or notifications. County jails across Florida are monitored, according to that page. The system can report whether a person remains in custody and name the holding facility. None of that makes it a booking-photo source. There is no text-only indicator proving Liberty County's live sync at every moment. So verify urgent results with LCSO. Choose Liberty in the person search when offered. FDC participation adds state prison and supervision data. That kicks in once a case reaches that stage, not county mugshots.
Check a Liberty Arrest
Keep the details light. A name plus a birth date is usually enough to pull up the right Liberty County arrest record.
- Open the Florida VINELink person search.
- Select Florida and Liberty County if the interface asks for a location.
- Enter the person’s name or offender identifier. Add lawful identifying detail only when needed.
- Compare the facility, identifier, age or birth information, and status before choosing a match.
- Call the named facility if the status affects an immediate safety or release plan.
The Liberty booking-record section covers how to request the arrest and intake documents VINE does not hold. The Florida search screen is shown with no personal data.

The capture shows the official entry point without searching or displaying a real person.
Liberty VINELink Result Fields
Fields vary by agency; each result is a snapshot.
| Field | Meaning and limit |
|---|---|
| Name and identifier | Matching data for the custody record. |
| Custody status | The latest status received by VINE; it can lag a new event. |
| Facility | The reported holding location at that update. |
| Agency or county | The system contributing the record. |
| Notification option | A route to register for supported custody changes. |
Custody can change quickly. Release, transfer, escape, and return-to-custody events all update a result, while booking photos and charge history stay outside VINE's main task; for a court outcome use Liberty Clerk OCRS.
Register for Liberty Custody Alerts
Registration is free. The Second Circuit instructions describe phone sign-up with a personal identification number. More methods exist; options vary by interface.
- Open the correct person’s record and choose the notification or registration control.
- Select an offered contact method, such as phone or email.
- Create and retain the requested PIN for phone notification confirmation.
- Review which events are covered, such as release, escape, or transfer.
- Keep facility and emergency contacts available instead of relying only on an automated message.

The account screen supports notification management and is separate from the public person search.
Verify Liberty Custody Changes
VINE retries unanswered calls and serves both English and Spanish speakers, per the Second Circuit page. Registration stays confidential. Never rely on it alone for safety. Federal custody is not covered. A new arrest may not appear until the jail transmits the event and VINE processes it. Start with the Liberty daily arrest check. When timing matters, call LCSO at (850) 643-2235; federal prison belongs to the BOP locator and immigration detention to ICE's, and neither shows up in a Liberty jail result.
The Second Circuit VINE explanation appears below.

The official circuit page documents registration, language, retry, confidentiality, and federal-coverage limits.
Florida VINE Phone Registration
Phone registration runs alongside the web path, according to the Second Circuit program page. A caller works through the automated service. You register a phone number and pick a PIN. The system may retry calls nobody answers, and prompts can change, so follow the live menu instead of assuming text, email, or phone is offered. English and Spanish are both documented. Each registration ties to one custody record and its events, not to every Liberty County arrest. Write down the facility. Also note the record identifier, registration date, and delivery method you chose. If a result vanishes or the alert never comes, rerun the live search. Then call the facility. Automated notice supports a safety plan. It cannot replace one.
Three Different Liberty Alerts
Liberty residents run into three different alert systems. VINELink covers one person's custody. Alert Liberty through Everbridge handles county emergency and public-safety messages, and Liberty Clerk e-Notify sends reminders before court hearings.
| Service | Main purpose | Not a substitute for |
|---|---|---|
| VINELink | Custody status and release, escape, or transfer alerts where supported | Booking photograph or final disposition |
| Alert Liberty | General emergency and public-safety notices | Complete arrest or release feed |
| Clerk e-Notify | Court-event reminders | Current jail status |
Pick the wrong alert and you hear nothing. A person can walk out of jail while a court case continues, and a hearing can change without any VINE custody event. Match the system to your question.
Resolve Multiple VINELink Matches
A name-only search can pull up several people. Compare the record identifier, facility, age or birth details, and county before registering. A familiar name is not proof. Aliases and spelling variations can shift results too. VINELink does not match faces. Treating a similar name or an image as legal identification is a mistake. When doubt remains, call LCSO or the named facility with the record identifier. Ask which details they can confirm. For the case itself, follow it through Clerk OCRS and get an authoritative copy from the Clerk when the result matters legally.
When VINELink Finds No Record
An empty result has several possible meanings. The fresh Liberty booking may not have synced yet, the person may have been released, the search details may not match, or the record may sit in a system VINE does not cover. That is not proof no arrest happened. Check spelling and lawful identifiers first. Then contact LCSO for current county custody. If a later sentence moved the person to state custody, search FDC. BOP covers federal prison and ICE covers immigration detention, and because each locator has different coverage, identifiers, and timing, do not carry one failure into the next.
